An immersive public art piece, at the Madison Concourse of the Grand Central Terminal in New York, created for critically acclaimed artist Nancy Baker Cahill. OFFLINE transports audiences to a surreal and immersive landscape, blending nature and speculation.
Local Formations was responsible for the visual effects of the piece, creating a sophisticated integration of over a hundred mixed media elements, from computer-generated simulations to archival biological imagery, as well as handling the precise mapping to the physical space of the terminal.
